Angry Birds 2 Reviews & Game ideas

  • Problem with people of today

I think this game is perfectly fine, a previous review stated that kids have to pay to play and that’s a problem today, well I disagree. I’ve been playing for a year now and have not spent a dime.. parents should be teaching patience, discipline, and waiting for good things to come... not “ Immediate gratifications” we always feed our kids with money and happiness to keep them satisfied. But then when they finally grow up, they run into so much disappointment that they can’t handle it.. these games are able to be played at a slow and steady pace with the ability to advance with out the need to spend spend spend, if you have patience.. I play a few min everyday and I continue to progress.. I don’t need to run ramped and make it to the end and try to win the game all in 1 day or even a week...it’s meant to provide long lasting steady enjoyment, not consume your whole life.. I say take a moment and show a child how to play and then put it down and wait for another day to play again! So go have some fun and stop making this about somebody keeping you down and not allowing you to win all the time!!!

I have been a huge Angry Birds fan since the very beginning. I am becoming more and more disappointed with the creators and designers of this game as they figure out more and more ways of taking our money. There is an addiction factor that they are exploiting. Starting to remind me an awful lot of the tobacco companies. In the sense that they start you off really cheap, really easy, everything seems just fine and then Bam! jack the prices up and they hold all the cards because the addiction to it is set. I don’t mind paying my share to play but with all the glitches and lost rewards it hardly seems fair. Then they go and give you a cute little egg you can hatch, to be your very own little bird that’s just for you. just another way of sucking every last penny you have, it is disgusting. With every new special little thing they give you, that’s that much more of your money they’re expecting. The fleecing that is going on is making it hard to stay interested in this game. Hope you will take this into some kind of consideration.
  • Pay To Win & Loot Boxes Galore

The game is designed to entice people to spend their money on loot boxes in order to progress further. You are given some initial success upon login(to get people playing the game, if people lose right away chances are they’ll play something else) which is then slowed down until you spend money on in game currency. The currency is geared towards “Legendary Treasure Boxes.” $20 spent will allow you to unlock two of these boxes. Yes, two. Once open the boxes give you a 1 in 5 chance of actually getting something useful, most times you are awarded with feathers to level up a single bird. Once at a certain point after spending the game will halt your progress in single player until you spend money again, not allowing you to advance a single level. In addition to halting any progress in multiplayer, challenges, etc., once money is spent in game again, you magically start winning again for a short period. This is especially bothersome to me due to the fact the game is geared towards children with the bright color scheme, playful characters and animations. As well as being so heavily promoted within the App Store! Parents: if you don’t want your children gambling away your money on loot boxes with 1 in 5 odds, keep them away from this game!!!!

Didn’t realize when my daughter downloaded it that you have to pay to update it every two weeks. Good game but frustrated that it’s not free like normal. No reason to charge $7.99 every time.

  • Great game and I spend very little.

I have been playing this game for about two years. It is the only game on my phone I have ever played. I play about twenty minutes a day and have leveled up to one of the highest playing. To all of those who say they spend a lot of money: I’m not sure how you’re playing the game, but I spend very little. If there is a great sale, I may buy some things, but I would be surprised if I spend $40 a year. I feel that is cheap for a game I play everyday. You could certainly get away with spending way less. I hope this helps the people on the fence about playing due to the cost.
  • Ads and cheats

The biggest reason you only get one star is the numerous ads that are repetitive and too long. Game also cheats, no points when there should be and sticking the tiny little targets in cracks or sheltered by layers of metal that is out of reach of any of the birds Also independent game in lower right is a waste of space. Beat it get few feathers or cannon balls, pay 20 to earn second win and get couple more feathers or balls. Waste of time and space
  • I love it!!!

I am on level 300ish and haven’t spent a penny. If I need special cards to advance I go back and replay old boards.
  • Rewards?

Why require 50 apples to feed the bird daily but only give a chance to win a maximum of 15 daily. I understand you all have to make a profit but jeez at least up the apple rewards
  • FUN....At first, Then, well....

in the beginning, this game is RAD... But sadly after a week or so it gets to where the only way to progress is by purchasing their “cheats”.. Sad because it’s a rad game... frustrating indeed....

  • To slow to level up

Birds should be able to level up by the amount of damage done not by gathering feathers that people will eventually have to pay for to get past level 25 per bird..
